In 2021, with the joint efforts of all members of the alumni association, the Donghua University Non-woven Alumni Association will earnestly implement the speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Cohesion and influence are also growing.

The special activities of the Alumni Association mainly include the following four sections:

1. Weekly report on raw materials: share the price trend and forecast for the next week of five non-woven raw materials such as polyester staple fiber, viscose staple fiber, polypropylene chips, polyethylene chips and cotton fibers;

2. The alumni association enters the enterprise: In 2021, the alumni association will enter three enterprises, namely Weicheng Nonwoven Machinery, Hangzhou Haoyue Nursing Products Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Bidefu Medical Technology Co., Ltd. The future development blueprint of commercial non-woven enterprises;

3. Industry-university-research cooperation: The first Donghua University Nonwovens Doctoral Supervisor and Doctoral Forum was successfully held to gather young scientific and technological talents in my country's nonwoven material science industry, build a platform for young talents exchange and cooperation, and promote the sustainable and high-quality development of my country's nonwoven material science. .

4. Focus on talent training: organize the members of the alumni association to participate in the training and certification of senior engineers and intermediate engineers in Shanghai engineering series of textile majors, and a total of 4 students passed the review.

When summarizing the work and achievements of the Alumni Association in the past year, it also deeply analyzed the existing deficiencies, put forward corresponding improvement measures, and made key arrangements for the work in 2022.

1. Part of the official account: Strengthen the content of raw materials, add new services, prevent single content, and continue to increase the influence of the official account and alumni association;

2. Theme activities: To set up theme forums and lectures to benchmark the needs of enterprises and industry development;

3. Personnel construction: Recruit outstanding alumni to join the Donghua Nonwovens Alumni Association, and determine the mechanism for recruiting new members of the alumni association.

Explore the plan：

Professor Jin Xiangyu made a summary and analysis of the development of raw materials, sanitation, filtration, geotechnical, automobile, emergency protection, new energy and other sectors in the industry in the post-epidemic era, and on this basis proposed the next work goals of the future alumni association.

Other members of the Alumni Association Council also expressed their views on the current situation of the Alumni Association, proposed corresponding solutions to the relevant work plans, and took the initiative to receive the 2022 work indicators, showing their determination and attitude to support the work of the Alumni Association.
